Busy Summer
Now that the pressure is off from the BIG BLOGGER contest, I can update things from the summer;)
Ok, so we should go back a little. Seeing as there were a few posts about my grandmother I thought I would let you know that the funeral was very nice and of course, as good Jersey Polish Catholics the after funeral party was also very nice;)

And there was the four of us born the same year, together for the first time in ........ages it seems. Believe it or not, I am the baby of the group!! I took some pictures of all of us in the restaurant, but they came out a little dark, so I won't post them. There were over 150 people tho, and that was all family except for about 5.
When we came back from the funeral we immediately got the house together for the Christmas in July party. That was FUN!! It was great to see people we hadn't seen in a couple of years. The party mix changes every year so we never really know what guests we'll see. This year it was blast from the past.
Not a lot of pictures taken from that nite until VERY late in the evening. It was a good time and having the rotating bartenders behind the bar after the keg ran out was.... um..... interesting??
After Christmas in July things slowed down a little. Camp was over (THANK GOD!!) and I wasn't due to start my last teacher education class for another week. WE got free tickets to a Nats game from our frined John Bitter who is a bartender at Portner's and a season ticket holder. I took Kristen Jepperson with me because Bud had a school commitment at his new school that nite. We sat in the 400 section to watch the Nats and the Marlins. It was a good time. Kristen doesn't really know much about baseball, so that was funny. Ask her next time you see her what a Marlin is. She didn't know when we went to the game.
The next nite Bud and I went to the Nats- Mets game. I am BIG Mets fan. But I'll write more with the next post and hopefully will get more pics loaded. Right now Blogger is being a jerk. Let's just say, David Wright.......CUTE!!!
