Drood!!

The musical opened this weekend and has gotten great response! Standing Ovations two nites running. The actors are having a fantastic time and the audience is VERY responsive to participating. One of the parents who helped build costumes also has been taking some photos. She's got a great gift, so the first three photos here are hers. My photos did not come out nearly as well.

Our Bazzard is hoping to go 6 for 6 as being chosen for the detective and the one kid that ............. well, let's just say he was not cast for his singing ability......... keeps getting voted for as one of the Lovers. He plays Durdles and is very popular because he's so funny.

We have a show today at 2pm if anyone has time to come out. Our houses for the Sunday mat are usually small, so any help is appreciated. We also run next weekend; Fri. Sat at 7:30 and Sun. at 2. Tickets are only $10.

I'm really proud of this show. The music is very difficult and the energy needed from everyone needs to stay high. The cast is definitely meeting that. It's nice to know that my last show there will end on a high note.

Some more of London

Just a few more pics of the trip. There's more, but not today;)
Front of Westminster Abbey. You can't take pictures inside the church. But you can in the cloisters and the garden area. There were lots of people taking pictures where ever they wanted anyway, but I didn't. I did take some in the cloisters tho. I got a little artsy fartsy.

Gates at Buckingham Palace.

Windsor Castle. It is immense.

Side Gardens at Windsor Castle

Me and some of the senior girls at Trafalgar Square, without the anti war demonstration;)

Chalk artist at Trafalgar. He was also there the next day and did the same exact drawing but used different colors.

Oh look, it's the Tower of London!!

And Tower Bridge. I kept waiting for some sunlight or even a break in the clouds, but........oh well.

Me and my mom with the cute Yeoman. He was quite charming;)

Poseidon at the V&A museum.

Our guide Barry at the Tower of London. He was fantastic!! Made everything so very interesting!

Big Ben and Parliament. See, they DO have some blue sky:)

Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery.

THE Game!

So there we were!! Finally!! I still can't believe we got to go. It was quite a spectacle.

The new gazillion million mega pixel jumbo tron tv HD thingy screen!

The local National Guard brought out 2 flags and the place was jammed!
It was quite a night people!!

It also was crazy where the food was concerned. Take a look at the lines for food!! This was ridiculous. Bud and I waited in line for 2 hot dogs and some fries for 40 minutes. We missed 2 and a half innings. It was NUTS!! And they don't have the game sound coming through the speakers in the concourse. So we didn't even know what was going on. I HOPE they fix that before the next game. UGH, what a nightmare!

Again the big tv........ and I didn't realize the picture was what I was taking til I got it home. Look who's watering the infield. It really must be that easy;)

I did get pics of the Pres throwing out the first pitch, but they came out all fuzzy. I even used the right setting and everything. Oh well. The park is really beautiful and I can't wait to go to many a game this summer.
